After the refurbishment of Delaney Heights tower block in Manchester, you would think the block of flats had only recently been built. With major refurbishments carried out, the tower block now boasts an impressive, modern look. The tower which was formerly called Matthias court, is named after Shelagh Delaney, Salford’s best-known playwright and author of ‘A Taste of Honey’.
Converted from student accommodation to 119 affordable flats, Kingfisher Windows were chosen as part of the project to help carry out the work. We supplied PVCu casement windows in anthracite grey, which can now be seen lining the walls of the block, freshening up its look.
We also supplied curtain walling for the entrance and communal stairways helping to bring plenty of light inside to make using all areas of the building easy for residents and visitors.
